We are looking to appoint a high quality, enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish and French to join the existing MFL department on a part time basis (0.4 FTE). The ideal candidate would be able to teach both languages up to KS4.  If you have the desire to make a real difference to the lives of young people and want to join a team of highly dedicated staff, then we would love to hear from you.

This role would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to start their teaching career within a MAT which provides lots of opportunities as well as working within a supportive department.

One of the ten schools within the Blackdown Education Partnership, Axe Valley currently has approximately 700 students in Years 7–11. The Academy is located in East Devon, in the beautiful market town of Axminster, which is set on the River Axe. Axminster is just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site but has excellent rail links to London and Exeter.

This is a really exciting post for a candidate who wants to make a difference to our students.

We can offer :-

A supportive team, both in the school and the wider trust

Access to networking events across the wider trust

Opportunities for training and development

Staff wellbeing offer, including access to counselling

Cycle to work scheme

If you have any queries or would like a tour of the school, please contact Liz Heron (PA to Headteacher/HR co-ordinator) on 01297 32146 to arrange.
