A fantastic opportunity has arisen within The Castle School, Taunton, for a Teacher of Science, covering maternity leave, who will develop curiosity, excitement and passion for science in all students to join our dynamic, inspiring faculty from September 2026.
We are looking for a committed Science teacher who can deliver engaging and high quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be dedicated to raising achievement and fostering a love of scientific discovery in all students, teaching all three sciences to GCSE.
The Science Department is the largest in the school with 11 teaching staff and a well-qualified and experienced Science Technician. Lessons take place in fully equipped laboratories, five of which have been newly refurbished.
