Teacher of Maths
Full time
From September 2026
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths ready to inspire the next generation? Whether you are an Early Career Teacher looking for the perfect place to begin your journey, or an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Maths to join our forward-thinking and supportive Maths faculty at The Castle School. You will deliver high quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of mathematics and a confidence in students to tackle challenging concepts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to thrive—our strong mentoring programme, reduced teaching timetable (for ECTs), and well established induction process ensure you will be fully supported as you develop your practice. Experienced teachers will equally find a collaborative, progressive team with opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and wider school improvement.
The Maths faculty is made up of nine teachers, many of whom teach across two subjects. All the team are dedicated to continually developing the maths curriculum offered to students and working together on pedagogy in order to deliver lessons which help pupils develop an understanding and love of maths.
At The Castle School we have very high expectations of ourselves and of our students. We invest heavily in our staff and have a superb reputation for outstanding support and access to the highest quality professional development for teachers, particularly for ECTs, which ensures you are at the forefront of teaching and learning innovation. Our students are keen to learn and succeed; they appreciate their teacher’ support and dedication.
We can offer you: An opportunity to work in an experienced and supportive team from whom you can learn, develop and grow; a friendly, busy and dynamic workplace where each day is different from the last; a competitive salary; wider opportunities to be involved across our Trust; an energised and professional working environment.
