At Holyrood Academy, we believe Humanities subjects have the power to shape curious, compassionate and critically minded young people. We are proud of our inclusive and ambitious culture, where students are encouraged to explore big questions, understand diverse perspectives and develop a strong sense of their place in the world. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative Humanities department with well-developed schemes of work, enabling you to focus on delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and continuing to grow as a practitioner.
While we are particularly keen to strengthen our provision in Religious Studies, we warmly welcome applications from teachers with a specialism in any Humanities discipline who are enthusiastic about contributing more widely. Whether your expertise lies in History, Geography or beyond, if you have the passion, adaptability and commitment to help our students think deeply and achieve highly, we would love to hear from you. At Holyrood, you will be supported to develop your practice and make a meaningful difference in a school community that values both excellence and belonging.
