We currently have a new opening for School Cook to join Orchard Grove Primary School, helping to co-ordinate day-to-day activities within the kitchen and ensuring quality services are provided to students and staff.
Job overview
You’ll be responsible in assisting with school menu planning, food preparation and cooking, and working within a wider team to ensure catering services are carried out efficiently on a daily basis, including stock control and ensuring duties are carried out within a set budget.
Job requirements
- Minimum of a Level 2 award in Food Safety
- Previous experience within catering for large numbers in a supervisory role
- Awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH, dietary and allergen requirements
- Commitment to providing a high-quality and consistent catering service with the ability to work within a busy environment
