An opportunity has arisen at Orchard Grove Primary School for a School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.
Job overview
As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
Job requirements
- Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
- Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
- Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people
