Holyrood Academy are seeking to appoint a teacher experienced at working within the primary phase, for a one-year fixed-term contract to work alongside our current primary Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a ground-breaking project to improve the opportunities of Key Stage 3 students working within the Key Stage 1 curriculum. They will plan and teach small groups within a classroom-based intervention to enable us to widen the provision on offer at Holyrood Academy. They will also offer support and advice to staff to enable these students to be successful and effectively included within mainstream secondary lessons.

You will need to have a thorough understanding and experience of how to teach reading, writing and basic numeracy skills and bring an innovative and creative approach to classroom teaching. You will need to be a highly motivated, inspiring, and experienced teacher who has a passion for working with children who find learning challenging and a determination to ensure students receive the education they deserve.
