Office Manager and PA to the Headteacher    

37 hours per week

Somerset Grade 11 (£30,296 - £33,945 FTE – pay award pending)

Term time, INSET days plus an additional 37 hours to be spread across holiday periods and five Local Governing Committee evenings meetings per year (40 weeks per year)

Actual starting salary £27,206

8:15am – 4:15pm Monday to Thursday; 8:15am – 3:45pm Fridays (includes and unpaid 30-minute daily lunch break)

The Castle School is seeking to appoint an efficient, forward-thinking Office Manager and PA to the Headteacher from September 2024.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the main school office as Office Manager and will oversee the administration/reception team to ensure a warm welcome to visitors and others whilst operating at the highest professional standards.

As PA to the Headteacher, you will provide a confidential, efficient, and high calibre personal assistant service in respect of all school matters and support the Senior Leadership Team as required.

This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills who has experience working in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build and form working relationships with students, parents and colleagues, and will enjoy working as part of a team.
