Attendance Officer

32 hours and 30 minutes per week

8:15am – 3:15pm Monday to Friday (includes an unpaid 30-minute daily lunch break)

39 weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days)

Grade 13 NJC points 6-11 – FTE £25,989 - £28,142

Actual starting salary - £19,548

The Castle School requires an ambitious and dedicated Attendance Officer to support students in achieving their full academic potential by promoting excellent attendance.

This is an interesting and varied role, based in the heart of the school in the Pastoral Hub. You will deal with staff and students on a daily basis, so excellent communication skills are required.

We require someone who has proven knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel. You should have a friendly and helpful manner, be well-organised with strong attention to detail, and ideally have experience of working in a busy office or school environment.
