We are looking for an Operations Lead at IKB Primary School to join our support team to take responsibility for all operational functions, ensuring high-quality and efficient services for colleagues, parents, carers, pupils, and visitors.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Supervision of non-classroom-based support staff.
• Leading on all school operational matters under the direction of the Headteacher.
• Oversee administration systems and “front of house” services.
• Coordinate staff recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes in liaison with the Trust HR Team.
• Maintaining pupil and staff records, monitor attendance, and complete statutory returns.
• Managing parental communication systems, website, and social media.
• Administering financial processes, including orders, invoices, and trip arrangements.
• Liaising with Trust teams (Finance, Estates, IT) to ensure smooth operations.
• Organising school events and ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
• Act as a trained first aider and support pupil supervision when required.
We are looking for candidates with:
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in administration and operational management (ideally in an educational setting).
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Competence in IT systems and digital communication platforms.
